Warner Bros. has picked the date to release Guillermo del Toro's PACIFIC RIM, reports Heat Vision. The monster and mechas feature will descend into theaters on July 12. 2013.

The cast includes Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam and Charlie Day. Travis Beacham (CLASH OF THE TITANS) penned the script. Legendary Pictures is the production studio.
