Erik studied Cinema/TV at the University of Southern California after completing his tour of duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. He began his career working as vault manager at Pacific Ocean Post in Santa Monica. He next moved to the Cinram/POP DVD Center where he worked on audio encoding and graphics.

In 2003, Erik joined SMV Complete Media and quickly moved up through the ranks to vice president of the company. By developing their leadership and sales team, and placing an emphasis on complete customer satisfaction, he helped the company to grow exponentially over the next seven and a half years as he focused on maximizing team member efficiency and work flow effectiveness.

The former-marine is also passionate about supporting our troops. His self-published book, "The Goal Formula: Completing the Big Picture of Your Life," is included in care packages, through the USO, for soldiers on active duty and distributed to them when they return to civilian life.  Marine and Air National Guard units throughout the country have invited him to speak to soldiers about his inspirational "Goal Formula."

Therwanger, his wife and their 5-year-old daughter relocated from California to Minneapolis this year.
