Cinema Five Films Launches
In addition to his commercials work, Donnelly has branched into feature films. “Divergence (2007),” his feature film debut as Writer/ Director/DP, was released by Vanguard Cinemas International and played in 17 noted international film festivals, winning Best Feature in five of them. It also received critical praise in Variety and Film Threat. His latest film is a sci-fi take on Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar,” which has been accepted to the New Filmmakers Festival.
Tim Pumpfrey
A native of New Jersey, Pumpfrey began his career as an editor at MTV’s On-Air Promo department in 1999. After first five years in the editor’s chair, which taught him many filmmaking lessons, Pumpfrey launched his directing career. His current show reel includes spots for Victoria’s Secret, Orbit gum, Pacsun and Neutrogena.
Mark Breese
Originally from Ohio, Breese spent the last six years as editor/producer at MTV where he worked on the network’s many integrated marketing campaigns. His most recent editorial work includes a new cross-promotional marketing campaign for MTV and the film “Wrath of the Titans.” Breese is also the editor behind MTV’s Push Artist of the Week – an on-going promotion in support of new music. Every week Breese edits five-plus minutes of content about each particular artist that is seen on the network and online throughout the week.
Before joining MTV, Breese assisted film editor Robert Mead at Red Room Post, New York, where he worked with Mead on numerous documentaries, music videos and indie films. Mead, who has since gone to work on the editing teams of such Hollywood features as “Robin Hood,” and the forthcoming “The Amazing Spiderman” and Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus.”
