Cinema Five Films Launches
Press release from Cinema Five Films:
NEW YORK, NY – Responding to the changing needs of today’s ad agencies, broadcast networks and entertainment content developers, director/DP Patrick Donnelly has launched Cinema Five Films, a new full service production/post house hybrid specializing in advertising, integrated marketing campaigns, network branding, as well as long form TV, online and feature film projects. The company also features the talents of Director Tim Pumphrey and Editor Mark Breese.
“Clients today are looking to partner with companies that can take the creative reins of a project and shepherd it through from concept to post,” Donnelly says. “While the Cinema Five Films business model is in perfect sync with the needs of our clients, I think the combined creative talents of Tim, Mark and myself is what clients will ultimately respond to.”
And so far they’re responding big time. Although the company just launched they are already knee deep in several top creative assignments, including integrated marketing campaigns for Sobe, Neutrogena, Chevy and P&G with MTV; and a multi-spot package for Clean & Clear skin cleanser. They also just wrapped a campaign for BelVita (Kraft Foods) featuring Snooki and Deena-Nicole from The Jersey Shore. And, Donnelly’s latest film “Julius Caesar,” a sci-fi take on the classic Shakespeare work, has been accepted into the New Filmmakers Festival in New York this spring.
Known for their deft touch in an array of genres ranging from comedy, youth lifestyle, fashion, to music/performance, celebrity and real people, the Cinema Five Films show reel features ads for Rhapsody, Xbox Kinect, Victoria Secret, Free Credit Score.com, Neutrogena, Sonic, Orbit Gum and The Sims. The collective’s music performance chops are evidenced on their numerous long-form projects such as the Live @VH1 online performance series, and MTV’s popular 52 Bands initiative, which featured performances from Kanye West, Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, Gnarls Barkley, Death Cab for Cutie, Wilco, the White Stripes, Franz Ferdinand and many more.
“The timing to start Cinema Five Films was perfect – all three of us have worked well together, and all three of us were at a crossroads in our career,” adds Donnelly. “Given our collective experience and talent, and our full-service approach, which is perfectly in tune with our clients’ needs, we’re confident Cinema Five Films will be an invaluable creative resource.”
