Chick-fil-A Recalls Jim Henson Co. Toys

Earlier this week, the restaurant pulled the toys outright, but instead of citing the political friction, Chick-Fil-A framed it as a safety issue.
"We apologize for any inconvenience but as of 7/19/2012 Chick-fil-A has voluntarily recalled all of the Jim Henson's Creature Shop Puppet Kids Meal toys due to a possible safety issue," the company posted in counter-top signs at its various locations, as the Business Insider reported. "Please be advised that there have not been any cases in which a child has actually been injured, however there have been some reports of children getting their fingers stuck in the holes of the puppets. We are offering a substitution of a complimentary kids Icedream cone in its place until a replacement toy is available. Thank you."
A representative for Chick-fil-A said the recall had nothing to do with Friday's Henson announcement.
Meanwhile, Boston mayor Thomas Menino has vowed to keep his city Chick-fil-A-free, while radio host and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is holding a Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day to show support for the chain's anti-gay marriage stance.

What lies, Jerk fil-a. I hope that the Jim Henson company files a definition lawsuit.
