ABC has pulled the plug on the reboot of CHARLIE'S ANGELS, writes The Hollywood Reporter. Created by SMALLVILLE's Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the Miami-set private eye drama never took off despite a franchise name and heavy promoting by the network. The ratings for the show have continued to drop after its Sept. 22 debut brought in 8.7 million watchers and a 2.1 rating. ABC will burn off the remaining finished episodes until it decides what to put in its place.
