Following last summer’s move by Cartoon Network USA and Cartoon Network Japan, Canada’s French-language SRC network has just bought the third season of Mediatoon‘s CG animated series, The Garfield Show.

One of the most successful children’s series on Spain and Italy’s BOING and France 3, The Garfield Show keeps on beating audience records, steadily ranking among the top three with 34 percent of the audience share in the first trimester of 2012.

Coming this Christmas, audiences will get to watch Garfield for the first time in 3D. Italian channel SKY 3D, in partnership with Turner, will broadcast two special Christmas episodes in 3D, to be simulcast on Boomerang, on December 25th, then again several times throughout January.
