Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games stayed well ahead of debut films Wrath of the Titans and Mirror Mirror on its second weekend out, bringing in $61.1 million for a total of $251 million.

In second place, Wrath of the Titans, the 3D action sequel from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, earned $34.2 million, a little over half as much as the $61.2 million Clash of the Titans made on its opening weekend two years ago.

Relativity Media’s Snow White feature Mirror Mirror, starring Julia Roberts, Lily Collins and Armie Hammer, brought in $19 million.

Sony and MGM’s Jonah Hill-Channing Tatum comedy 21 Jump Street remained strong in fourth place, earning $15 million for a total of $93 million, and is expected to cross the $100 million line next weekend.

Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, from Universal and Illumination Entertainment, rounded out the top five at $8 million for a total of $189.6 million, and will most likely pass $200 million by the end of Easter weekend.

In sixth place, Disney’s sci-fi 3D epic John Carter earned $2 million for a total of $66.2 million.

After three weeks in very limited release, Lasse Hallstrom's Salmon Fishing in the Yemen took seventh place with $1.27 million. The movie has now made $3.17 million, and distributor CBS Films has plans to roll it out to more markets in coming weeks.

Relativity Media's Act of Valor came in eighth with $1 million, earning a total of $67.7 million.

Paramount and DreamWorks’ A Thousand Words, starring Eddie Murphy, brought in $915,000 at ninth place for a total of $16.5 million.

Again rounding out the list at number 10, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, from New Line and Warner Bros. made $835,000 for a total of $98.5 million.

At the specialty box office, The Weinstein Co.’s controversial documentary Bully opened to an estimated $115,000 from five theaters for a solid $23,000 per-theater average. The film, about the bullying epidemic in America's schools, has earned national attention for the unsuccessful fight to overturn its R rating, which was assigned for language.
