Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises easily won the weekend race at the box office, grossing $64.1 million for a 10-day domestic total of $289.1 million. Overseas, the film brought in $122.1 million for an international total of $248.2 million.

Fox and Blue Sky’s Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth installment in Fox’s prehistoric animated series, came in second place on its third week out with $13.3 million for a total of $114.8 million. Internationally, the film made $49.4 million, passing the half-billion foreign gross mark with $514.1 million.

From 20th Century Fox, the R-rated sci-fi comedy The Watch made its debut with a meager $13 million. The film, which stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade, cost $68 million to produce.

Summit Entertainment’s Step Up Revolution came in fourth place with a $11.8 million opening, well short of the previous three films in the dance franchise.

Seth MacFarlane’s raunchy comedy Ted came in fifth place, earning $7.4 million on its fifth weekend at the box office for a total of $193.7 million.

Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man came in sixth, bringing in $6.8 million on its fourth weekend out for a total of $242.1 million. Overseas, the VFX-heavy film came in fourth place, earning $12.2 million for a foreign gross total to $412.7 million.

In seventh place at the domestic box office, Disney and Pixar’s Brave brought in $4.2 million for a total of $217.3 million. Overseas the animated feature came in fifth place, bringing in $9.6 million for a foreign gross total of $92 million.

Warner Bros.’ Magic Mike came in at number eight, making $2.6 million for a total of $107.6 million.

Oliver Stone's drug drama Savages brought in $1.8 million for Universal, with a total of $43.9 million over the course of the film’s four-weekend run.

Rounding out the list at number 10, Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection made $1.3 million on its fifth weekend at the box office for a total of $62.7 million.
