Box office predictions are in, and it’s not looking good for the four feature films set to debut this weekend, including the big-budget Cloud Atlas.

Starring Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, Coud Atlas has been drawing mixed reviews and the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is pegged to open with a disappointing $13 million. Based on the critically acclaimed 2004 novel by British author David Mitchell, and directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski and Tom Tywker, the $100 million production was financed through a combination of foreign presales, a distribution deal with Warner Bros. and German investments, among other sources.

Horror sequel Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, distributed by Open Road Films, also opens this weekend, competing with both Cloud Atlas and Ben Affleck’s Argo – now heading into its third weekend -- for the top spot at the box office.

Meanwhile, Halloween-themed Fun Size, which cost $14 million to make, will probably launch with a lackluster $7 million, and surfing movie Chasing Mavericks, co-financed by Fox and Walden Media for $20 million, could wipe out with a dismal $5 million opening.
