This weekend at the box office, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises came in on top at the box office, bringing in $36.4 million on its third weekend out for a domestic total of $354.6 million. This marks the third straight weekend the film has easily held on to the top spot. Overseas, the film earned $67 million for a total of $378.4 million, bringing the worldwide total to $733 million.

Coming in second place, Sony’s reboot of Total Recall brought in $26 million during its debut weekend, only slightly ahead of the first Total Recall, which made $22.5 million on its debut weekend 22 years ago.

Fox’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days also had its debut this weekend, with the third installment of the franchise bringing in $14.7 million.

Fox and Blue Sky’s Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth installment in Fox’s prehistoric animated series, came in fourth place on its fourth weekend out, earning $8.4 million for a total of $131.9 million. Overseas, Ice Age 4 held onto its second place ranking with $32.8 million, bringing the film’s worldwide total to $715.9 million.

Fox’s R-rated sci-fi comedy The Watch came in fifth place on its second weekend at the box office with $6.4 million for a total of $25.4 million.

At number six, Seth MacFarlane’s raunchy comedy Ted brought in $5.5 million for a total of $203.4 million in the films sixth weekend at the box office. Overseas, the film brought in $32 million for an international total of $77.3 million.

Summit Entertainment’s Step Up Revolution came in seventh place at the box office this weekend, bringing in $5.3 million for a total of $23.1 million.

At number eight, Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man earned $4.3 million on its fifth weekend out for a total of $250.6 million.

Disney and Pixar’s Brave brought in $2.9 million on its seventh weekend at the box office for a domestic total of $223.3 million. Brave continued its international rollout, adding $16.5 million for a total of $118 million.

Rounding out the list at number 10, Warner Bros.’ Magic Mike brought in $1.4 million for a total of $110.9 million.
