June 15, 2011 – MPC is pleased to announce that Asher Edwards has joined the MPC LA team as Executive Producer.

Asher joins MPC from The Mill Los Angeles, where he was a Senior Producer for three years.  Asher moved to Los Angeles from The Mill New York, where he was Head of 3D Production for five years.  Prior to his tenure at The Mill, Asher worked at MPC London, where he familiarized himself with the company. While working in the US market Asher was responsible for several high profile VFX projects, such as the multi award winning Coca Cola ‘It’s Mine’ directed by Nicolai Fugslig and the VES winning AMF Caterpillar directed by Filip Engstrom. Asher also has an Emmy under his belt for work on Fox Sports.

Asher's addition to the MPC LA team solidifies the studio's rapid progression in the US commercial VFX marketplace.  He will be developing and sharing the immense talent at MPC LA; as well as helping plan the expansion of the contemporary office into the second floor of the Santa Monica building.
