Alien vs. Predator Lawsuit Thrown Out

A Los Angeles judge has thrown out a lawsuit filed against Twentieth Century Fox over the script for ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, writes The Hollywood Reporter. Writer James Muller claimed that the studio used his script THE LOST CONTINENT as the basis for ALIEN VS. PREDATOR. The judge ruled that the two scripts told "very different stories" and that any dialogue similarities were not close enough.

In AVP, an archaeologist team travels to Antarctica and finds themselves stuck between the aliens from ALIEN and PREDATOR. CONTINENT followed a government-run archaeologist expedition to Antarctica where a secret structure is found under the ice and the Freemasons are trying to retrieve a crystal from Atlantis. Instead of aliens there are animated stone gargoyles.

If anything the creators of Alien vs. Predator and the awful movie follow-up to it should have been sued for making an absolute CRAP movie. Who cares if it was ripped off. Both those movies blow Ass.
