LONDON -- Production company Studio AKA recently created a show open for ITV1’s Royal Season, comprised of a series of six programs relating to the royal family, and marking 60 years of The Queen's reign & the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Working under a very tight deadline, AKA‘s Steve Small designed and directed a “living banner” in a nod to heraldic flags that feature images and icons associated with the Monarch. The hand-drawn and delicately tinted image are created from simple freehand pencil elements and color washes, all composited together in a celebratory flourish that feels both traditional and welcoming.
