Press Release from Nola Pictures

Nola Pictures recently completed all production, editorial, post and design work on a diverse campaign for Weis Markets. Director Kenny Morrison took the lead on the new spots, while Creative Director Juan Delcan designed the campaign's graphic treatment. The overall project also included a five-spot promotional campaign that Morrison directed for the supermarket chain highlighting its outstanding features, and an animated character and a short film to promote Weis Markets' high-quality goods, both created by Delcan.

"Our team came together to handle all the production, editing and post for this new campaign," noted Nola EP Charlie Curran. "The fact that we can deliver across the board for a highly successful advertiser like Weis speaks well for the diversity, depth and consistency of the talent that's makes up Nola."

Unmistakably Weis comprises four unique commercials, each with a different theme, narrator, and creative concept, emphasizing, in turn, the store's exceptional service and quality, and its family roots and support of local products.

In Unmistakably Great Service, a father narrates a shopping adventure to Weis with his rambunctious son, who careens madly through the aisles until an associate, Stacy, calms him with attention and a treat. Unmistakably Local is an ode to the chain's emphasis on supporting the local economy and the environment by buying within the community, and stars a busload of awestruck schoolchildren touring Weis' ice cream plant.

Unmistakably High Quality is an overview of the store's entire far-flung logistical operation, featuring a montage of semis, warehouses, forklifts, and workers baking and stocking fresh food, all narrated by a woman preparing a Weis bounty for her family.
