Nexus Productions takes Gold for Best Animation for Honda "Hands," at the British Arrows Craft Awards 2013 while MPC wins Gold for Best CGI for Three Mobile “The Pony.” MPC colorist Jean-Clement Soret is presented with the British Arrows Craft Fellowship award.

Earlier this week, on Monday, November 25, the British advertising production community came together at the British Arrows Craft Awards to celebrate the best work of the past year.

According to a report by LBBO.com, Slumdog Millionaire and Trainspotting director Danny Boyle made a surprise appearance at the start of the evening to present MPC colorist Jean-Clement Soret with the coveted British Arrows Craft Fellowship. The Best Crafted Commercial Award was given to Southern Comfort’s “Whatever’s Comfortable” from Wieden + Kennedy and Biscuit Filmworks’ Tim Godsall. “Whatever’s Comfortable” also took home Gold for Best Casting and Silver for Best Director.

The other big award of the evening, Gold for Achievement in Production, went to 4creative for “Street Race,” which promoted Channel 4’s broadcast of the Grand National.
