Spontaneous Combustion, a New York digital studio specializing in the creation of visual effects and design, has named Roe Bressan managing director. In her new role, Bressan will be part of the management team, which includes executive creative director Tony Robins and general manager Marc Schwartz. Bressan will be responsible for the company's continued growth, accessing new outside talent and further coordinating the internal workings of the firm. Previously, Bressan worked for production house Red Car where she was New York managing director for eight years, responsible for growing the talent base and developing the brand. Bressan said, "Entertainment and communication is a collaborative endeavor. I have always been successful taking my past experiences and venturing into new areas. I was in production, then post-production/editorial and believe that visual effects, animation and design is where the most exciting things are happening today. Spontaneous Combustion has a great reputation and an unparalleled team of artists. It is a fast growing, fast moving company on the cutting edge of creative design. I want to be part of that journey." Schwartz said, "Tony and I have been so busy working that we have not had time to step back, reflect and shape the broader view so necessary if Spontaneous is to continue its forward momentum. We knew we needed a strong, sure hand to help guide our future growth. In addition to having the experience, the talent, and the contacts, Roe is highly regarded by everyone in the business."
