TORONTO (June 10, 2009) -- Toronto-based distribution company, Breakthrough Entertainment has brought in Kate Blank as its new sales executive. The announcement was made today by Nat Abraham, Head of Distribution.
Ms. Blank will be responsible for sales in the Asia Pacific region, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and Africa.
"As Breakthrough Entertainment's wide range of programming continues to increase so does our expansion into international territories and markets," said Mr. Abraham. "Kate's experience, track record and international contacts will make her an invaluable asset to our team and our strategic growth."
Most recently Ms. Blank was a sales executive at Sullivan Entertainment where she handled international sales and worked with broadcasters including NHK/Mico in Japan, Seven Network in Australia, YLE in Finland, TV2 in Denmark and EBS in Korea.
Ms. Blank will be attending the upcoming Discop market, June 16-19, in Budapest. Breakthrough Entertainment will be located at table #30.
