Press Release from BRB Internacional

Zoobabu, the new series from BRB Internacional in 3D stereoscopic, has just signed the first agreements that will take its fun-filled guessing programs to kids practically the world over. For starters, Disney has acquired the series for Asia, Australia and New Zealand. And it will also be broadcast in Canada in both official languages – French, on Radio Canada and English, on BBC Kids and Knowledge. Likewise, towards the end of the year, it will become the first European TV series to be aired in stereoscopes thanks to  Televisió de Catalunya  and Canal Panda in Spain, and on Tring in Albania.

Produced by BRB Internacional, Screen 21, Televisió de Catalunya and Image In , Zoobabu (104 x 2’) is truly a revolution in television programming for its pre-school target audience: it depicts an entire world filled with great riddles and guessing starring 104 different animals hidden inside a very amiable box, all of which is aimed at encouraging interactive leisure among the tiniest tots in the house. Step-by-step, clue-by-clue… the kids get hints that help them reveal which animal is in the box -- ZOOBABU!

Zoobabu was officially presented last year at MIP JR 2010 and it won a nomination for the Kids’Jury Prize in the 3 to 6 year-old category. It will return to the same venue this year, in October, in Cannes, too, with the series totally finished and ready for broadcast.
