Jim Smith, co-creator of REN AND STIMPY, THE RIPPING FRIENDS and many other Spumco cartoons has inked a deal with Asylum Press to publish a series of sketchbooks. The first DEADLY ARE THE NAKED ships July 2005.

This 64-page extravaganza features rare sketches, sexy figure studies, muscle-bound barbarians and looney cartoon characters. Also featured are RIPPING FRIENDS storyboards, background design and celebrity caricature. A full-color section features never-before-seen concept art and a glimpse into Jim's new comicbook character CHESTACLESE. This book will have a 16-page color section featuring rare concept drawings and all new comicbook art. A signed sketch edition of 500 will feature an original pencil sketch done by Smith.
