Eva Green (CASINO ROYALE) has joined the cast of Tim Burton's DARK SHADOWS, reports Deadline.com. She takes the role of Angelique, a witch who had an on-and-off again relationship with the vampire Barnabas Collins. Green joins Johnny Depp, Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heathcoate.
Based on the ABC soap opera, the original series ran from 1966 to 1971 and followed Collins, a guilt-filled 175-year-old vampire who returns to his estate after escaping from a coffin where he had been chained for 200 years. PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES author Seth Grahame-Smith is penning the script.
