Bohm New NBC Universal TV Distribution VP Int’l Marketing

Pauline Bohm joins NBC Universal Television Distribution in the newly created post of vp, international marketing. Bohm will work closely with Dan Weiss, evp, marketing, to whom she report, developing marketing strategies for international markets serviced by NBC Universal International TV Dist., which includes a client-base in more than 200 countries.

In addition, she will be responsible for overseeing the creation of marketing materials, including advertising campaigns, presentation tapes, sales market and special event presence and collateral materials for all NBC Universal titles distributed under the NBC Universal International TV Dist. banner. NBC Universal product distributed internationally includes an extensive slate of network and first-run series, off-network programming and motion pictures.

Bohm joins NBC Universal after serving as a marketing consultant to entertainment industry clients, both in the television and music arenas. Bohm had also served as svp of international marketing for Pearson Television Intl (FremantleMedia), from 1996 to 2001, where she was responsible for overseeing marketing and creative strategies for the Pearson Television Intl brand.

Before Pearson, Bohm was exec director of NBC advertising and promotion, from 1985 to 1996, responsible for managing creative teams working on national print and promotional campaigns for NBC's primetime programming. Bohm began her career in 1982 as an account executive for the advertising agency Clemenger Australia.

NBC Universal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the domestic and international marketplaces. Its NBC Universal Television Distribution division is responsible for the global distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television throughout the world. This includes distribution of current and library film and television product in the pay, free, and basic markets, as well as the domestic syndication of first-run syndicated TV programs and theatrical and TV movie packages.
