Boegner Named Senior Vice President Of eKids

Greg Boegner has been named senior vice president and general manager of eKids Internet, a private, secure Internet-based network designed especially for children. eKids is one of a number of such networks developed by SilverTech, Inc., creator of Private Internet Engine (P.I.E.) technology, founded in February 1997 by former telecommunications executive, El St. John. Other company vertical markets include eDistributors, eLawyer, eUniversity, eShipping, eFinance, eGovernment and eMedicine. In his new position, Boegner will oversee all aspects of eKids Internet including original production, acquisitions, sales, marketing and business development. Boegner will help develop SilverTechs vertical businesses and implement eKids international expansion. Greg has been a vital part of the growth of our company, especially with the European development of eKids Internet, said St. John. His knowledge and guidance have been appreciated by all of us and we look forward to his continued contributions to SilverTech. Boegner joined SilverTech as vice president, business development, where he handled content acquisition for eKids Internet, marketing, advertising and public relations. Prior to joining SilverTech, Boegner was executive director of program acquisitions for both Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and CBS/Fox Home Video where he was responsible for theatrical, childrens and special interest programming. At Warner Home Video, Boegner was director of non-theatrical programming. He also served as director of acquisitions for Pacific Arts, PBS Home Video and the Family Channel Home Video labels.
