Bill Buckley New Chief Marketing Officer For Bakers Man

Bill Buckley joins Bakers Man as chief marketing officer for its family of companies, including Bakers Man Prods., Bakers Man Technology Group, Bakers Man Ent. Group, TrueLight Ent. and Image Quest Studios.

Buckley will develop and oversee the marketing, sales and media relations efforts and, in addition to enhancing existing relationships with key entertainment accounts in theatrical, home entertainment, music and platform games, he is tasked with positioning Bakers Man solutions in a more integrated fashion.

Bakers Man, an industry leader in Internet based technology, marketing communications and digital information management for the entertainment industry, is banking on Buckleys experience in the corporate sector is to expand the company's offerings beyond its core entertainment practice in areas such as animated viral marketing efforts similar to its recent launch for ehealthinsurance.com.

Bill brings a vast knowledge and expertise in marketing and sales which will be instrumental in our developing strategic business approaches to broaden Bakers Mans reach within entertainment and beyond, said Paul Kartsonis, founder/ceo, Bakers Man.

Buckley was head of a consulting company he formed, Buckley Consulting, where he provided contract and project services to various companies, including Bakers Man, focusing on marketing, sales planning, public relations, customer service, branding and relationship brokering.

He had been evp of convention sales and services for the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, responsible for managing and providing strategic direction for the sales division, including client services and memberships department, as well as directing the meeting and convention sales activities in the regional offices.

Previously, Buckley was an evp of entertainment marketing for the public relations/marketing firm, Rogers & Cowan. He was responsible for creating and executing marketing programs that maximized the synergy between public relations, promotions and product placement between key global clients. He also served as the national director of entertainment sales & promotions at Marriott International.
