Big Machine Design (BMD), a full-service creative services studio, has completed a new show open for the hit, nationally syndicated program LIVE! WITH REGIS AND KELLY.

On behalf of clients Giant Octopus and WABC-TV, BMD designed and produced the new show open, which involved live action production utilizing the new RED Camera. The company also created and produced original animation and motion graphics featured within the piece. The open is a fast-paced, light and breezy visual "treat," taking viewers through the streets and skyline of Manhattan, as they are decorated by red arrows, blue and yellow streamers, and bright yellow stars. We see Regis Philbin hustling along on a brisk walk, while co-star Kelly Ripa hops into a speedy cab. Meeting up in Times Square, the pair is delighted when they see each other, and notice the giant LIVE! WITH REGIS AND KELLY animated logo that dominates the Times Square skyline.
