The Big Apple Anime Fest 2002 (BAAF 2002) will present the exclusive sneak preview of DreamWorks' recently acquired anime feature MILLENNIUM ACTRESS, this Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 7:30 pm. The screening will be introduced by Taro Maki, the film's producer, who will also be hosting a question and answer session directly following the feature. The festival will also premiere the English dubbed version of COWBOY BEBOP: THE MOVIE on Friday, August 30, 2002 at 8:00 pm (this screening is unfortunately sold out!). At the premiere, COWBOY BEBOP director, Shinichiro Watanabe, score composer, Yoko Kanno, and character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto will be on hand to meet fans and discuss the film. COWBOY BEBOP, the series, can currently be seen in the U.S. on Cartoon Network. COWBOY BEBOP: THE MOVIE is scheduled for release by Columbia-TriStar Pictures in early 2003.
