BFI Future Film Festival Issues Call for Entries

The BFI Future Film Festival issues a call for entries to the 2014 edition of the festival; the deadline for submissions is September 30, 2013.

UK filmmakers ages 16-25 are invited to submit their films for the 2014 BFI Future Film Festival. Selected films will be screened at the BFI Southbank during the Festival and films may be nominated for a Future Film Award.

IdeasTap will host a special screening for the five winning short films at the festival, alongside a masterclass Q&A with an industry expert and judge.

If selected, you and a guest will be invited to attend the Future Film Awards at BFI Southbank, and you’ll be allocated a limited number of tickets for screenings of your film for contributors, family and friends.

Your short must be 10 minutes or under in length, have been produced in the last two years and be an interesting and original concept, with good production values and an entertaining subject matter.

There are three categories for submissions: Documentary, Animation and Fiction. The deadline for all three categories closes at 5:00pm on September 30, 2013.

Apply via IdeasTap.
