Scott Bernstein has been promoted to EVP of production at Universal, reports VARIETY. Bernstein will report to Debbie Liebling, president of production.
He's worked on such films as HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY, THE BREAK-UP and ROLE MODELS. On his current plate are the films YOUR HIGHNESS, THE THING prequel, Dark Horse graphic novel adaptation THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.
Prior to coming to Universal in 2007, he was a production exec at Revolution Studios, Lionsgate, Ignite Films, Mostow/Lieberman Prods. and the Draizin Co.
