BENT Image Lab is excited to announce their new representation by agency BLAH! Blah? (Blah…). The two companies, who are long time friends, have recently joined forces and are looking forward to the new venture.
“We were very happy to get to work with Nate, Andy and Marci at Blah, Blah, Blah,” says BENT Executive Producer Ray Di Carlo. “They have a long history working with animation studios and are really great people. We are excited to be a part of their family!”
BENT Image Lab is an award-winning, Portland, Oregon-based production company and creative laboratory, known for melding art, design and storytelling. Established in 2002, BENT specializes in wildly creative spots and videos that range from the frenetic to the deeply moving. BENT produces long form animation projects for television, commercials, music videos and visual fx for the film and television industry. Recently BENT completed production on a 22 minute stop motion animated TV special for Hallmark Channel entitled “Jingle All the Way” and is currently in production on its sequel. BENT’s principals are David Daniels, Chel White, Ray Di Carlo and Tsui Ling Toomer.
“Having BENT on our roster is about as good as it gets! Now we can offer some the best stop motion or CG character animation anywhere as well as high-end visual fx and it's all at this one company,” says BLAH! Blah? (Blah…) founder Andy Arkin. “But the clincher for me is that David Daniels and Ray Di Carlo are the nicest people in the business. That means a lot to me because I want the agencies to go to BENT and have a great experience, which must be happening because of how much repeat business they get. It's clear they are doing everything right.”
