El Tabador gets a Claymation make-over in Portland-based animation studio Bent Image Lab’s latest spot for Canadian mobile carrier Koodo.
Working closely with agency Taxi 2, director Rob Shaw transformed El Tab from his traditional CGI pint-sized self to a stop-motion, clay-infused version who sculpts impressive objects out of his living room décor. Working with the delicate, imperfect nature of clay proved to be an interesting challenge for the Bent team, resulting in a dazzling visual feast.
