Believe Media Signs Anthony Mandler

International production company Believe Media announces the signing of Anthony Mandler to its global roster of directors.

International production company Believe Media is delighted to announce the signing of Anthony Mandler to its global roster of directors.

Award-winning Mandler is well known for highly sophisticated work spanning different platforms and genres and for featuring some of the most famous names in entertainment today.  Following major successes as a prolific music video director and celebrated stills photographer, his move to Believe Media marks the first time that Mandler has signed with a company for commercial representation.

“We are very excited to be the production company to launch and nurture Anthony as a major commercial director. His highly innovative visuals, gift with emotional narrative and ease with celebrity talent make him a natural addition to the Believe roster,” says Luke Thornton, Co-Owner and Executive Producer of Believe Media.

“By signing Anthony at this time we aim to capitalize on an artist who has truly hit his stride and is already part of the zeitgeist,” Thornton says.

Mandler has directed spots for such top brands as Nike, Samsung, Ciroc and Motorola among others and his epic stills photography featuring David Beckham, Ryan Phillipe, Lebron James, Eva Mendes and Eminem among others for publications like Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Rolling Stone, ESPN and Men’s Health.

Mandler’s illustrious body of music videos include more than a dozen music videos for Rihanna and music projects with Jay-Z, Mary J Blige, Drake and The Killers. Like its predecessor “National Anthem” that also deals with the depiction of the American female archetype, Mandler’s new music video for Lana Del Rey -- “Ride” -- is currently trending worldwide.

Additionally, Mandler has three feature projects in development including Vlad, produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner at Plan B, Last Days of American Crime with Noomi Rapace at Radical Studios, and Dead of Winter staring Haley Steinfeld.

“Anthony is a truly modern director. Few directors have been able to work in motion and print with simultaneous success the way he has,” notes Thornton. “His work is as varied, beautiful and as experimental as the brand demands. His repeat celebrity business speaks to the value and trust clients place in him to design and evolve their brands.”
