Press Release from MTV

SANTA MONICA, CA (December 9, 2011) – Viewers are in for another special two-hour animation block, with all-new back-to-back episodes of Mike Judge’s “Beavis and Butt-Head” at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, followed by two new episodes of “Good Vibes” at a special time, at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, this Thursday, December 15 on MTV.  Mila Kunis (“Black Swan,” “Friends with Benefits,” “That 70’s Show”) guest-stars as herself in the “Good Vibes” episode airing at 11:00 p.m., and for the first time, Adam Brody joins the Twitterverse when he takes over the @MTV Twitter account starting at 11:00 p.m. ET.  Since Adam does not have his own Twitter account, fans will get their first chance to chat with him when he tweets live from @MTV that night.

On Thursday night’s episode of “Beavis and Butt-Head” airing at 10:00 p.m., Beavis and Butt-Head shanghai a used car salesman on a joyride that leaves the car in pieces. Will they walk away from this one or is everything wrecked for good? Then the guys become ace bounty hunters after a chance meeting with a reality TV star in a hardware store. They soon find out catching criminals takes more than mullets and sleeveless shirts!  Check out a sneak peek at http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/717944/most-wanted.jhtml.

In a new bonus episode of “Beavis and Butt-Head” airing at 10:30 p.m., Beavis and Butt-Head fall asleep in a school bus while on a field trip and wake up … in 1832. A colonial village sends the boys through a time loop. Will they keep Van Driessen from being born in the past, or just ruin his life in the present? Then later, after seeing some hot chicks get massages in the food court, things get all touchy-feely when Beavis and Butt-Head open up a massage stand of their own. But the situation gets tense when these idiots take on some rival masseuses. For a sneak peek, click http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/717945/where-are-we.jhtml.

Mila Kunis guest-stars in this week’s all-new episode of “Good Vibes” airing at a special time, 11:00 p.m. In the episode, Wadska accidently knocks out the real Mila Kunis, who awakes with amnesia thinking she’s Wadska’s girlfriend and prom date.  Meanwhile, Mondo learns about Babs’ struggles as a single mom and decides to ask the school’s pregnant teen, Dee-Dee, to the junior prom.  Little does he know however, that after disappointing her for the umpteenth time, Jeena has finally dumped Turk and Mondo’s dream girl is dateless for the dance.  When the gang arrives at the prom, Mondo makes his move on Jeena only to be interrupted by the birth of his date’s baby and the subsequent damage to his tux. And in a special second original episode airing at 11:30 p.m., it’s “Good Vibes’” one and only musical episode. Mondo’s feeling down about not knowing who his father is and all the ice cream in Playa Del Toro isn’t helping. Instead, Mondo hacks his mom’s Facebook and with a little help from his friends, narrows his paternal choices down to three very different men. In true “Mamma Mia” fashion, he invites all three potential dads to Babs’ birthday party, only to discover that none of them are his real father. In 1993, Mike Judge (creator of “Beavis and Butt-Head”) and MTV knocked their heads together and launched a cartoon series starring a couple of lunkheads and unwittingly started an animated pop culture revolution.  Now, Beavis and Butt-Head are back on MTV to unleash upon music videos, “Jersey Shore,” viral videos and more.

“Good Vibes,” follows transplanted Jersey boy Mondo (voiced by Josh Gad, “The Book of Mormon”) and his best bud Woodie (voiced by Adam Brody, “The O.C.”), as they surf the biggest waves, hit the wildest parties and chase the prettiest girls in Play Del Toro - a colorful California beach community.

The all-star ensemble cast also features Debi Mazar (“Entourage”) as ‘Babs’ Mondo’s mom; Alan Tudyk (“Suburgatory,” “Serenity”) as ‘Lonnie,’ a burnt-out but wise beach bum; Danny McBride (“Eastbound & Down”) as ‘Ms. Teets,’ a massively overweight and inappropriate human sexuality teacher; Olivia Thirlby (“Bored to Death”) as ‘Jeena,’ the beautiful girl of Mondo’s dreams; Jake Busey (“Starship Troopers,” “The Good Guys”) as ‘Turk,’ an obnoxious local surfer and bully; and Tony Hale (“Arrested Development) as ‘Wadska,’ a charmingly nerdy and delusional friend. “Good Vibes” was created by David Gordon Green (“Pineapple Express,” “Your Highness”) and is animated by Six Point Harness.  Along with Green, executive producers are Tom Brady ("The Simpsons”), Tom Werner (“Roseanne,” “That 70’s Show”), Mike Clements (“Life and Times of Tim,” “Are You There Vodka, It’s Me Chelsea”) and Brad Ableson (“The Simpsons”).
