The BBC has announced the winner of the BBC Talent New Animation Award. The overall winning animation prize went to HOBBIES by Nick Mackie and Pete Avery. As a result, Mackie and Avery will produce a series based on their idea for broadcast on BBC Three. The five remaining finalists included Rich Webber's GOOSEBERRY, Brian Mung's MUNG, Phillip Beglan's THE SISTERS, Adam Crowley's SPAMTON and Brian Demoskoff's WILDFOWL.
