Bauhaus Announces Strategic Investment from Texas

Bauhaus Software, a leading provider of 2D animation and vfx tools, has received a strategic investment from the State of Texas Emerging Technology Fund (TETF). This funding will be used to expand Bauhaus development team, invest in more research, develop new products, and augment marketing. Bauhaus is also focused on furthering relationships with South Texas colleges & universities, through both R&D exchange programs and internships.

"We are tremendously pleased to see the state investing in our company, and helping support our drive to preserve and extend the art of animation," said Paul Ford, president of Bauhaus. "This capital investment will allow us to both accelerate our development schedule, and significantly expand our product offerings.

The ETF investment process was guided by the South Texas Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization within the San Antonio Technology Accelerator Initiative (SATAI), a private, not-for-profit Texas corporation dedicated to the creation and growth of technology companies in San Antonio. SATAI worked closely with Bauhaus in the grant application process.

We are extremely pleased to see Bauhaus Software receive this investment because it will accelerate their business to the next level, said John Dascher, director of Investment Services for SATAI. The Bauhaus team represents the epitome of the entrepreneurial spirit by working diligently to deliver world-class software worldwide. This investment underlines their ongoing commitment and delivery for their customers.

Bauhaus' Mirage suite of products is available through both the Bauhaus Software website and authorized distributors worldwide. Bauhaus Mirage is available for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.
