Bardel Entertainment forms a strategic alliance with Frank Saperstein’s Surprise Bag Inc. to produce and distribute animated content for the global market.
Vancouver, BC – Award-winning Canadian animation and digital media studio Bardel Entertainment and LA-based primetime Emmy nominee Frank Saperstein and his company Surprise Bag have entered into a non-exclusive partnership where Saperstein will serve as Bardel's Executive Producer and collaborate on select animated productions.
A prominent figure in the children, animation and family genres, Saperstein has worked on several iconic properties throughout his career including Ren & Stimpy, Pee-wee’s Playhouse and Kong. Prior to launching his own company, Surprise Bag, Saperstein most recently served as Senior Vice President Family Television at media powerhouse Entertainment One Group.
For the last 25 years Bardel Entertainment has worked with Major Studios such as DreamWorks, Disney, Warner Bros., and Cartoon Network on TV and feature film properties. The studio also develops and produces its own proprietary content with co-production partners and broadcasters around the world.
