Ballistic Publishing Has EXOTIQUE Call for Entries

Ballistic Publishing is now calling all artists to submit digital images for consideration to be included in EXOTIQUE. Images can be created in any 3D or digital illustration application. Ballistic is interested in digitally-created fine art, whether it be 2D or 3D, for commercial use or personal satisfaction. Ballistic seeks all types of characters from heroes and heroines to damsels, monsters and malicious villains. All genres are welcome, whether it be science fiction, fantasy, anime, photorealism or stylized realism. Entry deadline is Oct. 3, 2005, midnight GMT.

There is no cost or limit to enter work for inclusion in EXOTIQUE. Artists with work published in EXOTIQUE will receive a complimentary copy of the book and will enjoy worldwide exposure in the premier collection of digital character creations.

EXOTIQUE will go into production in October, with a release date of December 2005. It will be available in soft cover, hard cover and a Limited Edition.

Meanwhile D'ARTISTE: CHARACTER MODELING and D'ARTISTE: MATTE PAINTING are the latest releases from Ballistic.

D'ARTISTE: CHARACTER MODELING is a 3D character tutorial book showcasing the work and technical skills of leading artists Pascal Blanché, Francisco A. Cortina and Steven Stahlberg. D'ARTISTE: MATTE PAINTING is dedicated to showcasing and teaching the skills behind the art of digital matte painting by leading Hollywood matte painters Alp Altiner, Dylan Cole and Chris Stoski.
