BAFTA Makes Final Call for Entries for Animated Shorts

BAFTA issues its final call for entries for the Short Animation category.

LONDON --

BAFTA has just announced its final call for entries for the Short Animation category.

The deadline for entries into BAFTA’s Short Film and Short Animation categories of the British Academy Film Awards 2012/13 is Wednesday, October, 31, 2012.

Nominations will be announced on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, and the award will be presented at the Orange British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, February 10, 2013.

This award category is open to UK productions only. Films must have been completed between June 1, 2011, and October 31, 2012, and are only eligible if they have a substantial British contribution in the majority of the following areas: Production Company, Finance, Director, Producer, Writer, Key animation/creative talent.
