Animation World Network and VFXWorld would like to remind young filmmakers that we are a special media sponsor for the Visual Effects Societys eDIT Filmmakers Festival in Frankfurt, Germany, Sept. 24-26, 2006. We will be sponsoring eDward VII, a young filmmakers contest and awards which celebrates the work of talented artists under the age of 30. We encourage filmmakers from all over the world to participate by creating 30-second films based on the theme Time Travel. The grandprize is 2,500 euros, plus other prizes such as software and hardware will be awarded. The top finalists also will be showcased in a special gallery on AWN.
