This year’s RESFEST, the 9th annual global touring festival of innovative film, video and special events, will feature ICON CHEF – Designer Challenge. This first annual showdown pits master designers, illustrators and effects artists against one another by asking them to create a new masterpiece entirely from scratch. The buzzer sounds after 60 minutes, and the audience votes. Who will take home the honors? The San Francisco event this Saturday pits top Bay Area effects/animation houses ILM, PIXAR and Giant Killer Robots against each other for what promises to be a hilarious competition. Event takes place: Saturday, Sept. 24, 4:15PM at the Palace of Fine Arts, 3301 Lyon Street at Bay, San Francisco.
