This past Sunday, in Los Angeles, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the Best Animated Short Film winner. After carefully considering the humor of Jolly Roger, the stunning sequences of "Canterbury Tales," the heart-touching "When Life Departs," the finesse of "Bunny" and the wide expanses of the haunting "More," the Academy chose....BUNNY! Congratulations to Director Chris Wedge and crew. In addition, the results are in for Animation World Network's Oscar Review reader poll. For the second year running, Animation World Network's readership has chosen the same winner as the Academy! 48% of all AWN voters predicted Bunny would take home the Oscar.
