HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE opens this week and we'll soon be offering extensive coverage of the excellent, naturalistic-looking work. It's about time that the franchise was a serious contender for the VFX Oscar, and this one is the best example yet. Meanwhile, The Mill has begun working on season two of the BBC's MERLIN series (with season one now broadcasting on NBC), and VFX Supervisor Will Cohen and VFX Producer Rebecca Johnson tell us all about the challenging CG work.
