Digital Musings From the Editor:

With VFXWorld editor Bill Desowitz away at SIGGRAPH, it’s my job to fill you in on all the new articles on the site. With SIGGRAPH on our minds, we have George Maestri’s review of modeling and rigging software, evolver, in addition to Fred Galpern’s preview of Skymatter’s upcoming sculpting tool, Mudbox.

Wrapping up the July theme on digital art, Galpern also shows us how Massive Black puts artists first and everything else second. And closing out the week keep checking back for Alain Bielik’s look at the Korean horror film, THE HOST, and Tara DiLullo’s piece on the vfx work being done for SCI FI Channel’s new series, EUREKA.
