VFXWORLD finishes March off with two more articles on non-entertainment 3D visualization. Mary Ann Skweres reports on the vital work that was done for forecasting and tracking Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and Christopher Harz explores how skilled animators are using “advanced visualization” to improve oil exploration. Meanwhile on the film front, Alain Bielik finds out how John Gajdecki supervised the creation of the CG monsters that inhabit SLITHER (opening March 31 from Universal Pictures).
