Animation World Network and VFXWorld would like to remind young filmmakers that we are a special media sponsor for the Visual Effects Society’s eDIT Filmmaker’s Festival in Frankfurt, Germany, Sept. 24-26, 2006. We will be sponsoring eDward VII, a young filmmaker’s contest and awards which celebrates the work of talented artists under the age of 30. We encourage filmmakers from all over the world to participate by creating 30-second films based on the theme — “Time Travel.” The grandprize is 2,500 euros, plus other prizes such as software and hardware will be awarded.
