AWN Launches Valentine's Day Contest
AWN and Animation Cafe moderator Larry Lauria proudly present our first 2005 contest. To celebrate Valentines Day, we’re holding a character design contest that centers on the classic Romeo and Juliet scenario.
We revisit the classic theme of forbidden love! Two lovers, either from different families, different clans, different races, even different planets, tempt fate to be together. History says their love is tragically doomed...but maybe, just this once, the fates will be bested!
Our Valentines Day Character Design Contest is wide open: ANIMALS, HUMANS, INSECTS ALIENS, ROBOTS, ETC. It's up to you to determine the characters and their relationship.
A Gallery thread has been posted in the AWN Contests Forum. There’s not much time to take part - all entries must be posted by 12:00 midnight (PST) on Wednesday, February 9, in order to be eligible for the judging.
Enter as often as you like!
The best three entries chosen by Larry will be able to choose one item from a grab bag of DVDs and books, including Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, “The Making of Ghost Warrier” and “The Official Softimage | XSI 4 Guide to Character Creation.”
