AWN Discussion Forums - What's New? for March 9, 2009

Posted In | News Categories: AWN Site News | Geographic Region: All
This week in AWN's Forums, a member has a simple question: What do animators do? A summer animation internship is at stake, so if you can offer your years of experience, please do. Discussion continues on whether old school animation is as good as new school animation, and vice versa. What are the differences between frames, shots, scenes, sequence and acts? Do different studios use different terminology? And an age-old question: is it possible to break into the big studios from the outside? Work for them, that is, not stealing their stuff. That's a question for another day.

As well as, tools for teaching animation, the business of animation and, as always, brand-new stuff to check out in show and tell!
