Chris Robinson, Director of the Ottawa International Animation Festival, is on tour in Canada to present a screening and discussion of the Best New Canadian Animation. The screenings will take place in Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto. Admission is free. The schedule is as follows: Vancouver: Wednesday, April 5th, 7:00pm at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, Granville Island; Hosted by ASIFA Vancouver. The site also presents the organization's video project, "Canadian Animation on Video," a compilation video cassette of 15 films by independent animators, to be launched at the Ottawa Animation Film Festival in September 2000; and the Norman McLaren Heritage Award, with profiles of the past winners.
