Voiceover, Animation Emmy Winners Honored

The Creative Emmy Awards were presented at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on September 8, 2001, honoring performers in voiceover and animation. Emmys for individual achievement in animation were awarded to: FUTURAMA – Rodney Clouden, storyboard artist for "Parasites Lost;" GARY & MIKE – Curt Enderle, art director for the episode "Phish Phry," and Brad Schiff, animator for the episode "Furry Duffel;" and INVADER ZIM – Kyle Menke, storyboard artist for "The Nightmare Begins." The winners in the voiceover performance category were: Hank Azaria, for various characters on THE SIMPSONS "Worst Episode Ever," and Ja’Net DuBois, for her role as Mrs. Avery on THE PJS episode "Let’s Get Ready To Rumba."
