When Zagreb 2005 wrapped up its festival on Oct. 30, 2005, the international jury handled out its Grand Prize to Denmark’s TERKEL IN TROUBLE. The A Film production was directed by Stefan Fjeldmark. Thorbjrn Christoffersen and Kresten Vestbjerg Andersen. Taking the Golden Zagreb prize was Annecy winner DISTRICT! (NYOKER!) from the Hungarian firm Lichthof Prods. Aron Gauder directed. The international jury also granted special recognition to Kawamoto Kihachiro’s BOOK OF THE DEAD (SHISHA-NO-SHO) (Sakura Motion Picture), Bill Plympton’s HAIR HIGH (Plymptoons) and Lotta Geffenblad and Uzi Geffenblad’s AMONG THE THORNS (BLAND TISTLAR) (ZigZag Animation).
