Noodlesoup Prods. was amongst the happy winners at the first annual Cineme 2003, garnering Best Animated Television Series Award for its THE VENTURE BROTHERS, produced for the Cartoon Network. During Nov. 6-9, Cineme, Chicago’s First International Animation Film Festival, showcased the best of animated cinema from around the world, attracting animation professionals from all genres, including notable giants from the software, hardware and entertainment industries.

“We’re delighted and honored to learn that the series received such an outstanding award,” said Jeff Nodelman, founder/president of New York City-based Noodlesoup, which is producing 13 half-hour episodes of THE VENTURE BROTHERS to premiere in the spring of 2004 on the Cartoon Network “Adult Swim” block. It parodies the 1960s favorite JONNY QUEST, featuring brothers Hank and Dean, their top-notch scientist father and their muscular and mullet-headed friend Brock who accidentally stumble onto adventure.

In addition to monetary prizes, the winners will be included on the upcoming THE BEST OF CINEME DVD/video, a compilation release of the official entrants, winners, in-depth interviews with the major players, as well as juicy behind-the-scenes tidbits from Cineme 2003. Information on the DVD and winners can be found at www.Cineme.org.
